All Covered expands presence in Washington, D.C.
Alteritech joins All Covered, adding more employees and small to medium-sized business clients
(Redwood City, CA) October 22, 2010: All Covered, the nationwide IT services provider for small to medium-sized business, today announced that Alteritech has joined All Covered, creating a significantly expanded presence in the Washington, D.C. market. The move grows All Covered's already strong footprint across the D.C. and Baltimore areas to include 50 local staff, backed by more than 50 remote support employees. This team supports 200 local clients under recurring support contracts. A further 200 clients in the area use All Covered for projects and one-off tasks.
Alteritech, an IT infrastructure consulting and IT managed services firm with offices in Vienna, Virginia and New York City, was formerly owned by Acumen Solutions, a business and technology consulting firm. Said David Joubran, President and CEO of Acumen Solutions, "We had always planned to grow the Alteritech business and then eventually spin it off. In our opinion the market conditions for selling this type of firm were particularly favorable now so this was a good time. We felt All Covered had a strong track record of client satisfaction and offered a cultural fit for the Alteritech employees."
