The Context

The Client

For 25 years, Key Air has provided aircraft management, private jet charter and FBO services from its corporate headquarters in Oxford, CT. Key Air offers a complete range of private jet aircraft services, from managing and maintaining aircraft to arranging charter travel. The firm currently employs over 150 people and has recently added new locations to offer its services nationwide.

When Joe Lee joined Key Air as CIO in May 2008, the company had been using some local consultants in Connecticut for assistance with IT support. As the company developed plans to expand into new markets, Joe knew that he needed an IT services partner not only to help with the overall network and computing infrastructure, but also provide support to the offices at their newest locations: Key Air South Florida, Key Air Twin Cities and Key Air Southern California.
