How we work

When consulting with clients, All Covered follows an approach based on defined milestones to meet the client's budget, timeline and technical targets while reducing disruption to the business. All Covered's practices follow accepted project management standards including definition, design proposals, test models, design tuning, and professional implementation. All phases are recorded to make available a comprehensive description of technical services performed and to assist in ongoing network maintenance. Requirements may include:

• Active Directory planning and troubleshooting, Exchange implementation and troubleshooting,
• Advanced knowledge and experience with a peripheral technology such as VOIP, Sharepoint, Unix
• Advanced security consulting and assessment (firewall, intrusion, industry standards)
• Advanced workflow management, training and benchmarking
• Vertical Industry Expertise in two or more applications in the same industry
• Advanced knowledge of HIPPA or similar industry compliance standard
• Novell experience/certifications in addition to Microsoft server and desktop expertise

Technical skills desired:

• Windows 2000 & 2003 Server and Workstations, Windows XP, Vista
• Exchange 2000, 2003 & 2007
• Linux or Solaris
• Novell Netware 6.0 & 6.5
• Novell SUSE Linux
• Mac OS X Sever and workstation, working knowledge of Open Directory
• Strong working knowledge of LAN/WAN technology including: TCP/IP (routers, configuration and setup)
• Security (firewalls – Cisco, Sonic Wall, Watchguard), Virus Protection Software (e-mail, server and client)
• Network Management (switches, hubs, fiber-optic, cabling, packet sniffing)
• MS SQL, SharePoint, CRM, Document Management, IIS, Apache, MySQL is a plus
• SBS Knowledge a plus

Education & experience:

• 5 years of network engineering industry experience or related IT technical experience
• 2 years of consulting experience in a technology environment
• Network Operating Systems (NOS) including Windows 2003 Server and Workstation, Novell Netware 6.0 & 6.5, Mac OS 9 & X
• LAN/WAN technology including: TCP/IP (routers, configuration and setup),Security (firewalls – Cisco, 3Com, Zywall, Sonicwall, Watchguard), Virus Protection Software (email, server and client), Network management (switches, hubs, fiber-optic, cabling, packet sniffing)
• BS/BE or equivalent experience and training required
• MCSE and/or MCSA certifications preferred.
